Digit Filters Down Middle Up The Down Middle Up (P34ID:DMU) is a so called "digit filter". A digit filter divides each digit into options. The Down Middle Up filter has the following options:
Down Middle Up = Digits D = 0 1 2 3 M = 4 5 U = 6 7 8 9
Digits 0 = D 1 = D 2 = D 3 = D 4 = M 5 = M 6 = U 7 = U 8 = U 9 = U
Down Middle Up = Digits D = 0 1 2 3 M = 4 5 U = 6 7 8 9
| The Down Middle Up filter in combination with VTracs, VZero, ATrax and Neighbors:
VTracs 1 = D 2 = D 3 = D 4 = M 5 = M
Neighbors 1 = D 2 = D 3 = D 4 = M 5 = M
| VZero 0 = D 1 = D 2 = D 3 = D 4 = M
ATrax 0 = D 1 = D 2 = D 3 = D 4 = M

Down Middle Up (DMU) is an alternate approach of Bottom Middle Top (BMT). They both divide the digit range of 0 to 9 into 3 fields. While Bottom Middle top gives the center area a higher priority with 4 digits (3, 4, 5, 6) the Middle here only counts 2 digits (4 and 5) and prioritizes the higher and lower digit ranges.
