Combined Filters VTracs Line Width Pick 5 The VTracs Line Width (VTX-LW) is a so called "combined filter", a combination of a digit and a math filter. It requires two separate parts to create the filter.
The original idea of the VTracs (VTX), standing for variable tracs, was to take the daily lottery and to reduce the number of digits from 10 digits (0 to 9) to 5 digits (1 to 5). The reduction was supposed to simplify the tracking of 1000 Pick 3 numbers to 125 VTracs numbers. In between the VTracs concept was watered down by combining pretty every available filter with VTracs, while originally the idea was to improve the selection of straight numbers. The Line Width is a so called "math filter". Math filters are created through calculations. The Line Width is the difference between the highest and the lowest digit of a number. To show you how to calculate the VTracs Line Width filter for a Pick 5 number here an example step by step.
Part I: Pick 5 VTracs Line Width Conversion Step 1: Divide 39561 into separate digits: 39561 => 3 9 5 6 1 Step 2: Convert each digit to filter: 3 = 4 9 = 5 5 = 1 6 = 2 1 = 2 Step 3: Combine the filters to a string: 4 5 1 2 2 = 45122
Part II: Pick 5 VTracs Line Width Conversion Step 1: Divide the 45122 into separate digits: 45122 => 4 5 1 2 2 Step 2: Find the highest digit: 4 5 1 2 2 => 5 Step 3: Find the lowest digit: 5 4 2 2 1 => 1 Step 4: Subtract the lowest digit from the highest: 5 - 1 = 4
