Combined Filters Neighbors Line Width Pairs The Neighbors Line Width (NB-LW) is a so called "combined filter", a combination of a digit and a math filter. It requires two separate parts to create the filter.
Neighbors (NB) is yet another alternative to the old VTracs (VTX). Instead of combining digits by adding 5 it selects the all even digits with the next odd digit up, 0 with 1, 2 with 3 all the way to 8 with 9. It is another efficient way to combine an odd with an even digit. The Line Width is a so called "math filter". Math filters are created through calculations. The Line Width is the difference between the highest and the lowest digit of a number. To show you how to calculate the Neighbors Line Width filter for a Pick 2 number here an example step by step.
Part I: Pairs Neighbors Line Width Conversion Step 1: Divide 00 into separate digits: 00 => 0 0 Step 2: Convert each digit to filter: 0 = 1 0 = 1 Step 3: Combine the filters to a string: 1 1 = 11
Part II: Pairs Neighbors Line Width Conversion Step 1: Divide the 11 into separate digits: 11 => 1 1 Step 2: Find the highest digit: 1 1 => 1 Step 3: Find the lowest digit: 1 1 => 1 Step 4: Subtract the lowest digit from the highest: 1 - 1 = 0
