Combined Filters VTracs Front Sums The VTracs Front Sums (VTX-FS) is a so called "combined filter", a combination of two filters:
The original idea of the VTracs (VTX), standing for variable tracs, was to take the daily lottery and to reduce the number of digits from 10 digits (0 to 9) to 5 digits (1 to 5). The reduction was supposed to simplify the tracking of 1000 Pick 3 numbers to 125 VTracs numbers. In between the VTracs concept was watered down by combining pretty every available filter with VTracs, while originally the idea was to improve the selection of straight numbers. The Front Sums filter is a so called "math filter". Math filters are created through calculations. You get the sum of a number by adding up the digits within that number. The is the first digit of that sum. If the sum is only one digit the Front Sums filter returns 0.
