Combined Filters VTracs Distances Pick 3 The VTracs Distances (VTX-DST) is a so called "combined filter", a combination of a digit and a math filter. It requires two separate parts to create the filter.
The original idea of the VTracs (VTX), standing for variable tracs, was to take the daily lottery and to reduce the number of digits from 10 digits (0 to 9) to 5 digits (1 to 5). The reduction was supposed to simplify the tracking of 1000 Pick 3 numbers to 125 VTracs numbers. In between the VTracs concept was watered down by combining pretty every available filter with VTracs, while originally the idea was to improve the selection of straight numbers.
To show you how to calculate the VTracs Distances filter for a Pick 3 number here an example step by step.
Part I: Pick 3 VTracs Distances Conversion Step 1: Divide 061 into separate digits: 061 => 0 6 1 Step 2: Convert each digit to filter: 0 = 1 6 = 2 1 = 2 Step 3: Combine the filters to a string: 1 2 2 = 122
Part II: Pick 3 VTracs Distances Conversion Step 1: Divide the number into separate digits: 122 => 1 2 2 Step 2: Calculate the distance between each digit and the next (the last digit with the first): 1 to 2 = 1 2 to 2 = 0 2 to 1 = 1 Step 3: Combine the filters to a string: 1 0 1 = 101
